Course Structure

Vocal

  • Vocal music is produced by the human voice, often accompanied by instruments.

Veena

  • Playing the Veena requires skillful plucking and intricate fingerwork. 
  • It symbolizes divine music and is often associated with the goddess Saraswati.

keyboard

  • The keyboard is an electronic musical instrument with piano-style keys. 
  • It can produce a wide variety of sounds, including piano, drums, and strings.
  • Keyboards are used in many music styles like pop, rock, jazz, and classical. 
  • They often come with built-in rhythms, effects, and recording features. 
  • Learning the keyboard helps develop musical skills and creativity. 
  • It is a popular choice for beginners and professionals alike.
Overview
  • This course is designed for effective learning of Carnatic Music for both Vocal and Instrument learners.
  • This course is designed for students aged 7 or above. For students below 7 years of age will be admitted in the preliminary course in which they will be taught basic Swara exercises, Taala exercises and Bhajans.
  • Each level duration approximately ranges between 3 to 4 months based on completion of syllabus.
  • For students joining for Instruments they will have to compulsorily undergo the Preliminary course for at least 4 months for effective learning of the course.
  • The students are expected to attend the Continuous Assessment Test after every lesson completion to test their knowledge and feedback will be provided for further improvement.
  • Students can complete the assessment at their convenience. However, for maximum effectiveness, it is recommended to complete the assessments concurrently with their classes.
  • The certificate of completion will be issued only after successfully securing more than 80% and completing all the lessons at a given level.
  • In Addition to the below mentioned curriculum, the students will be exposed to other competitions, Navarathiri Programs, Other physical and Virtual Programs and concerts.
  • Supplementary Materials will be provided.
